Popular Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda, has landed another endorsement deal worth N30 million

Monalisa, who is also a Glo Ambassador, recently landed the juicy deal as the face of Vita500, a new energy drink from South Korea, currently in circulation in Nigeria and some West African countries.

The actress has already been paid N30 million and her face will now adorn the wave-making drink marketed and distributed by Mescon Industries Limited.

Monalisa, who is also the face of the last year’s edition of 2012 Rivers State Cultural Fiesta tagged CarniRiv 2012, confirmed the development to the press, but refused to disclose the amount involved.

The new face of Vita500 energy drink. We recently concluded all contractual agreements and both parties are very happy with the deal. I’m not denying the fact that I was handsomely paid, but the amount is what I cannot disclose,  that is personal. My job for them as an ambassador, is to basically use my face and goodwill to help promote the brand in Nigeria and other West African countries. This involves a lot of travelling and strategic public appearances, as she disclosed.

Monalisa, however, denied the rumour that she and her colleague, Nse Ikpe Etim, are at loggerheads. “Nse and I are not fighting, we are still very good friends. I don’t know where the wicked people circulating the ugly and fake story got it from,” she insisted

Meanwhile, on 24 December, actress Monalisa Chinda held the maiden edition of her production, Project Help: A Dance for Life.

The production is an enactment of contemporary dance and is powered by Bailamos Dance Company, an ensemble that has treated the cream of the society to great performances. It is directed by choreography wizard, Bunmi Olunloyo. Venue was the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
