Ex-Commissioner Loses Mum
The death has occurred of Mrs Mary I.J. Orlu-Akwu (nee Oleru), a retired civil servant from Okporowo-Ogbakiri, in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Until her sudden death, she was a Minister in the Apostolic Faith Church, Eliparanwo, in Port Harcourt.
She is survived by her husband, Eze I.J. Orlu-Akwu and son, Engr. (Hon.) Dacoster I.M. Orlu-Akwu, a former Commissioner for Works and Transport in Rivers State among other children and relations.
Engr. Orlu-Akwu in a statement issued in Port Harcourt said burial arrangement would be announced in due course.
