Ntu Oyi, From Prison To Gospel Artiste

The story of Comrade Cornelius Chinedu Iroegbu is that of grass to grace. The journey to stardom as a gospel artiste did not come without some sad tales. Ranging from being entrapped in the vicious cycle of financial quagmire to being a victim of man’s inhumanity to man, his budding musical talents were brought to the fore within the four walls of a prison cell in Port Harcourt some seven years ago.

It was while in the cell that he got his inspiration to sing for God and his fellow inmates. It was also there that the idea of producing his own gospel album was born. By share providence, Cornelius popularly known as ‘Ntu-Oyi’ was able to realize his dream this year through one Mr Vitalis Otuiwu of De Caritas family whom God used to accomplish that dream.

Today, Comrade ‘Ntu-Oyi’ is a proud owner of a Gospel album titled ‘Chim Nedum’  which was recorded at George Banks Studio, Aba, in Abia State. The album which is an instant hit comprises eight tracks tailored towards giving God unquantifiable praise.

In an interview with The Tide Entertainment, Comrade Cornelius Iroegbu disclosed that the official unveiling of the album is slated for December 23, 2012.
