Muma Gee Launches New Album Soon

The empress of songs,  Gift Iyumame Uwame aka Muma Gee who had been out of the country for sometime now has come back home to launch a new album titled ‘mother land.’

Speaking in an interview with The Tide Entertainment in Port Harcourt recently, the Nubian queen said the new album would be launched in February next year. She said though she went  international for sometime, she decided to come back to her roots to launch the album because it had to do with her people and she was very passionate about it.

The Ekpeye, Rivers State born singer, however disclosed that she would take a break from the studio and extract from the album ‘mother land’ to do an album launch which would be dedicated to the flood victims in Rivers State, adding that the launching would coincide with her birthday on the 18th of November 2012.

The launching which would be held on that day at the Altec hall stadium road, Port Harcourt is titled help stabilize Rivers Relief… concert with Mama Gee.

On show business in Rivers State the multiple award winner said, it is dynamic. She observed that few years back, they were paid peanuts but now the business is the next oil well for this country if government could harness the potentials in the entertainment industry and invest wisely.

Mama Gee who is also an entrepreneur, fashion designer and house wife said she was happy that there was peace in Port Harcourt and people were free to come out and stay late in the night. She said few y ears back the reverse would have been the case.

“I am happy and proud to come from this state that is so sweet and night life is back, it makes me feel good,” he said.
