The wife of Imo State governor, Mrs Nkechi Okorocha, has advised women to recognise their weak points and work on them to succeed in their marriage.

Okorocha made the call during the November women prayer summit with the theme “The Captivating Women” in Owerri on Tuesday.

She said that when people fail to recognise their weakness and work to improve, it usually compounded their problem, especially if they were women.

The governor’s wife pointed out that the aim of the prayer was to build women who would look at their faults, make amends and begin to dominate their families and society.

“Always come to the prayer summit with great expectations and willingness to change,” she advised the women.

Okorocha urged the women to be conscious of what they did and said because “there is power in the spoken words’’.

In a sermon, Evangelist (Mrs) Nkechi Ali-Balogun, urged the women to pray for the nation, adding that God had given them all it took to bring peace to the country.

Speaking on the theme, Ali-Balogun called on the women to always know their husband’s identity and meet up with their needs if they must be captivating.

She stressed that any woman who wanted to be captivating must not deny her husband sex, saying that sex assured the man of his authority.

Also speaking, Governor Rochas Okorocha, represented by Deputy Governor Jude Agbaso, said women were special vessels endowed with beauty.

He enjoined them to allow the beauty to radiate in their homes, saying that no good nation could be built without the family.

Okorocha urged the women to maintain good communication link with their husbands.

“It is not how beautiful or rich a woman looks that matters but her capacity in all circumstances to keep effective communication with her husband,” he said.
