Ikuru Charges Christians On Prayer

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Engr Tele Ikuru, has called on Christians to be fervent in prayers for the outpouring of God’s blessing and establishment of glorious destiny in the nation.

Engr Ikuru said this yesterday during the Annual Conference of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Super Sunday Service, tagged: “In the Days of his Power,” at the CAC, Wonderland, Oduoha in Emuhua Local Government Area.

The Deputy Governor who read the only lesson at the service from John 11: 1-7, said prayer is one of the cardinal responsibilities of every believer, noting that, “I am a product of prayers and each time you pray, you deposit something in your account in heaven.”

Engr Tele Ikuru, who doubles as the chairman, Blessing Committee of the Church, commended the Good Women Association for initiating the building of a Guest House and Supermarket/Restaurant, expressing optimism that the building would be completed before the first quarter of 2013, commending the chairman, Rivers District Co-ordinating Council of the church, Pastor Godwin Osuigbo for his tireless efforts in the work of the ministry.

Earlier, the organizer of the event, the chairman, Rivers State District Co-ordinating Council, Pastor Godwin Osuigbo thanked the Deputy Governor for his unusual support and commitment to building of the church, describing him as a devoted Christian with exemplary leadership qualities.
