Dolphins Defer Closed Camping Exercise

Dolphins Football Club of Port Harcourt may delay their
trip to Nnewi for closed camping as previously scheduled.

This is due to the recent decision of
the Nigerian Football Federation’s directive to the Nigeria Premier League, to
cancel their planned Congress meeting last weekend.

“For now, no new decision has been taken
but we as a club have to watch the situation before making a move,” Media
Officer of the club, China Acheru said.

“It will not make sense to head out for
a two week closed camping session when the league may not start on December 1,
so we need to know when the congress will sit, when the league will start
before fixing a date for the closed camping.

“So, for now, we will continue with what
we are doing in Port Harcourt and decisions taken in Abuja will determine what
decisions we take here,” Acheru said.
