Keshi Tips Eaglets For U-17 W/C

Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, has predicted that Nigeria will win the FIFA U-17 World Cup for the Fourth time come next year.

Keshi who tipped the Eaglets for global glory, said that the Eaglets have a formidable team that is capable of going all the way, including winning the World Cup trophy.

“This is a good team and they are capable of doing great things including winning the World Cup trophy,” he said.

Keshi who stated this in calabar recently lauded the Coaching crew and staff of the Eaglets team for forming a great team.

He further commended the national under 17 team for their excellent performance in the first leg of the African under 17 championship qualifier plated between them and their Guinean counterparts  at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar, Cross Rivers State.

It would be recalled that the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria defeated visiting Guinea 3-0 in the first leg match of the qualifiers. The return leg will hold in Guinea this weekend.
