Clergy Tasks Couple On Marital Vows

The officiating Minister, Saint Patricks Catholic Church Nkpolu, Port Harcourt, Rev. Fr. Lawrence Nwike had urged the press secretary of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State, Mr. Buduka Senator Waliogba and detectable former Miss Precious  Munachi Osueke of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Port Harcourt to observe their marital vows to the letter.

The clergy gave the charge while performing the wedding ceremony at the church premises on Satuday 13th October 2012. In his sermon, he highlighted the essence of love in marriage and urged the couple to have a fulfilled marriage life.

In his opening remarks, the chairman of the occasion and clerk of the House, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Mr. Bright I, Agbovo stressed that marriage was fraught with challenges and enjoined the couple to ensure that they had a successful marriage life so as to produce good and responsible children raised in the fear of God.

The visibly elated couple thanked all and sundry for honouring their invitation especially their parents who made their day not only historic but memorable and promised to set a good example for others to emulate.

Among the dignitaries that graced the occasion were the Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government, Hon Prince Timothy Nsirim who was represented by his wife, Mrs. Edith Ego Nsirim who doubled as mother of the day. Others include Papa Funkey, Paul and Silas who added fun and glamour to the event amongst other dignitaries too numerous to mention here.
