96 Ships Due Lagos Ports October 29

The Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) weekend
said 96 ships are expected at various terminals within the Lagos ports from
October 4 to October 29.

In its daily publication, “the
Shipping Position” made available to newsmen in Lagos, NPA indicated that the
ships are laden with fish, rice, bulk wheat, base oil, steel products, new and
used vehicles, general cargo and petroleum products.

According to the document, 14
fuel-laden ships are waiting to berth at the various oil terminals in the
ports.

The ships contained petrol, diesel,
aviation fuel and kerosene.

The document indicated that three
ships namely; MV Stargate, MV Luebbert and MV Star Reliance, laden with bulk
wheat and rice, are waiting to berth at Josepdam and ENL Consortium Terminals.
