The earlier fixed date for the season ending super league play off  of the 2012 professional women football league has been postponed to 27th of this month.

Assistant Coach of Rivers Angels, Whyte Ogbondah made this known Monday, in an exclusive interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.

According to Ogbondah, the postponement was to give some of the Under -20 players who returned from the recently concluded U-20 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Japan a chance to be part of the exercise.

“From what we heard, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) wants the players to rest for a week before commencing the super six league play off,” Ogbondah said.

He stated that the Women FA Cup will kick-off two days after the super six play off which is scheduled to hold at the National Stadium,  Abuja.

Meanwhile, Ogbondah, restated his team’s readiness to win the FA Cup and the league title as they are currently in high spirits awaiting commencement of the Super Six play off.

It would be recalled that the Super Six was earlier scheduled for last weekend.
