Firm Offers Discount On SMS, Others

Etisalat subscribers are now to enjoy superb discount rates on short messages services (SMS) and other data services in the country.

The Chief Commerical Officer, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Wael Ammar stated this while briefing journalists in Abuja over the week.

Ammar said those traveling to Saudi Arabia or the Hajj pilgrimage between now and November this year will benefit from the promo.

According to him, the promo offers about 90 per cent discount on calls outside the country at N50.00 per minute.

He also said that local calls within Saudi Arabia will cost N30.00 per minute while SMS will go for N12.00 per minute with a data package at two kobo per Kilo Bites, when subscribers buy 200 Mega Bites Internet bundle.

Furthermore, he said the action was in line with the company’s promise to offer seamless communication to its customers, as well as services that will provide solution to their needs.

Also speaking, the company’s Director, Products and Services, Mr. Lucas Dada, explained how the promo was designed to provide customers convenience.

Dada, pointed the pilgrims can travel with recharge cards and also receive e-top up from the country.

The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Steven Evans, said that the acceptance of the role of technical partner from saome organisations was driven by its understanding that social responsibility is vital factor for building sustainable business.
