Proprietor Assures On Quality Education

The Proprietor of Glad Academy, Elelenwo, in Obio/Akpor
Local Government Area of Rivers State, Eze Sunday Weli Chuku has vowed to
maintain the educational standard of the school.

Eze Weli made this remarks during the end of session party
organised at the school premises recently.

He said the high standard of education had prompted him to
encourage pupils and students of the school by awarding those with outstanding
academic performance scholarship, including the less privileged, orphans and
those born out of wedlock.

Eze Weli who is also a traditional ruler said the gesture
was to encourage the students to excel in their educational career, as part of
his contributions to assist the government in ameliorating the hardship on
parents and guardians.

He promised to boost the students morale through his policy,
and hinted that with the quality of the teachers, he would maintain or take
education to greater heights as world best practice.

The proprietor enjoined the pupils and students to always
take their education serious and warned them against indulging into acts
inimical to the norms of the society, so that they would be good ambassadors of
the academy.

Earlier in his speech, the Principal of the School, Mr.
Christopher John advised the students to be law abiding at all times, work hard
to deserve the preprietor’s scholarship.
