The General Manager of Kano Pillars FC of Kano, Abba
Galadima, has blamed poor officiating for his team’s 4-5 loss to Lobi Stars of
Makurdi in the semi-final of the 2012 Federation Cup on Wednesday.

Galadima told newsmen at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar,
that the referee, Henry Oguyonmade, denied the club victory with his bad calls.

“I am totally disappointed. I am sure all soccer loving fans
at the stadium will feel disappointed too, ‘’ he said.

He described the development as very disappointing,
stressing that it poses a serious setback to the progress of football in the
country.

“It is shameful and unfortunate for Nigerian football, ‘’ he
added.

Galadima then said that the club would officially petition
the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Meanwhile, the Technical Adviser of Lobi Stars, Dominic
Iorfa said he was happy at winning the match.

He said it had proved Lobi as the best team in the country.
