Ondo Indigenes In Rivers Endorse PDP Candidate

Indigenes of Ondo State in Rivers State under the aegies of
Ilaje Decides Forum (IDE) has drummed support for the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) candidate in the forthcoming governorship election in the State, Chief
Olusola Oke.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Benjamin Olomidegun
and the Secretary, Comrade Jatuwase Oluwole, the group said it decided to back
Chief Oke because he is the only credible candidate that could actualise the
dreams of Ondo State and other residents of the state.

The forum said they are optimistic that Chief Oke would
bring his wealth of experience as a former PDP National Legal Adviser to bear
and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

It urged all sons and daughters of Ilaje and, indeed, Ondo
State at home and in diaspora to support the peoples candidate for the State to
move to an enviable height.

The group said the state had been subjected to poverty as
the resources of the state were not well utilised, noting that the people of
Ondo State still lacked social amenities such as portable water, healthcare
facilities and good road networks.
