Murray Beats Nieminen To Advance

Andy Murray continued his quest for an Olympic singles medal by crushing Jarkko Nieminen of Finland yesterday to book his place in round three at Wimbledon.

The Scot dispatched Stanislas Wawrinka under the Centre Court roof on Sunday and repeated the trick against 43rd-ranked Nieminen.

Murray next plays Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis, who he beat in the third round of Wimbledon last month.
