Cleric Faults Removal Of Check Points
A Bishop-Elect of Wesley synod Canterbury, prophet John Asgworo, says the recent withdrawal of police personnel from check points in the country the inspector general of police has created loopholes for criminals to infiltrate the country.
Prophet Asagwora who said this in an exclusive interview with The Tide Monday in Port Harcourt, also said that the withdrawal had led to near breakdown of law and order in some parts of the country.
He argued that the absence of police personnels from checkpoint across the country has created the opportunity for criminals to unleash terror on the people.
According to him, criminals such as the Boko Haram and armed robbers to continue to infiltrate the country with arms and ammunition.
The clerie who is the General Overseer of Holy Ghost times ministries stressed the need for the Inspector General of police, Mohammed Abubakor to reverse the decision by deploying policemen at check points in the country.
Meanwhile, Bishop Elect John Asagwara says Nigerian’s problem is spiritually indeed and therefore needs spiritual solution .
In an interview with The Tide, the Cleric said that the problem of the Boko Haram sect and others would be solved, if the nation repents and seek the face of God.
He noted that God has already directed him to anoint strategic places in the country, but noted that the support of the leaders of the country to carry it oct.
“What is happening now’s not physical, it is spiritual and needs spiritual attention.
“God ordered me to anoint Nigeria over ten years ago, but no government heard my cry.”
Bishop Elect Asagwara who claimed to have sent aletter to this effect to president Goodluck Jonathan and all the state Governors also said that two of his personal cars had been sold with the view to undertaking researches on Nigerian’s problem.
According to him, all the state capitals with minimum of 10 local government areas must be anointed.
“This anointing should not be delayed if the government is interested. All the state capitals will be anointed, minimum of 10 LGAs will be anointed senatorial centres will be anointed” he said.
