14-Yr Old Boy In Court For Theft

A 14-year-old boy, master Uchema Oloni from Aggah Town, in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local government of Rivers State has been docked before a Port Harcourt Juvenile court for allegedly stealing a Qlink Motorcycle.

The accused person is standing trial before magistrate Lenu Baridam  on one court charge of stealing.

The police prosecutor, sergeant Adiuri Idafe alleged that master Uchenna Olori on the 19th of June, 2012 at Aggah Town Egbema stole one Qlink motor-cycle with Registration number: Qe 250 umg valued at N83,000 belonging to one Sunday Nwabueze and added that the accused person committed an offence punishable under section 390 of the criminal code cap 37 laws of the federation of Nigeria 1999.

The accused person however, pleaded not guilty brought against him. The presiding magistrate, Lenu Baridam granted the accused N200,000, one surety with 2 pass port bail in like sum, while the surety must swear affidavit of means to  be verify by the prosecutor. The case was adjourned to August 9, 2012 for hearing.
