The Chief Coach of Sharks FC, of Port Harcourt, Imama Amapakabo has said that his team remains in contention to pick a continental ticket despite the disappointing goalless draw with Kano pillars at home on Wednesday.

Kano Pillars FC ran away with a point, on Wednesday in  the premier league matches played at the Sharks Football stadium, in Port Harcourt.

Amapakabo in an interview yesterday said that Sharks’ chances of earing a ticket for continedntal football next season were still intack.

According to him, the draw played cannot deter the club from picking a continental ticket because the players are still determined and in good form.

“My confidence is that we have five matches left, three are home matches and two away. If we are able to win our home games we are sure to  finish among the first three on the log,” Amapakabo said.

The Chief Coach attributed the draw with pillars to poor officiating, adding that the referee denied his club two clear penalties.
