The Ondo State Football Agency has noted that Sunshine Stars’ FC’s goalless draw with Etoile de Sahel of Tunisia in the CAF Champions League will boost Sunshine’s morale in the Nigeira Premier League (NPL).

The agency’s Public Relations Officer, Tony Adetoye, told newsmen in Akure on Monday that the players had resolved to win the rescheduled week five match.

Sunshine Stars at the weekend forced Etoile de Sahel to a goalless draw in Tunisia after Sunshine had earlier succumbed 0-2 in Ijebu–Ode to Esperance of Tunisia in their opening match in the championship.

The rescheduled Nigeria Premier League match between Sunshine Stars of Akure and Lobi Stars of Makurdi is to be played tomorrow in Katsina Ala, Benue.

“We do not expect anything less than a win from our next game in Katsina Ala.

“The team will not relent in its away draw success against the 2007 CAF champions, Etoile de Sahel of Tunisia,” he said.

The spokesman said that the team was expected to return to Nigeria from Tunisia on July 23 to start preparations for the encounter with Lobi Stars.

Sunshine Stars is currently placed eight on the premier league table with 49 points from 33 matches while Lobi Stars are sixth with 51 points from 32 matches.
