Varsity Launches Clinical Training

The Anambra State University Teaching Hospital, Awka, on Tuesday commenced clinical training with 13 medical students of Anambra State University (ANSU), Uli Campus.

The students, who came top of 86 others, were the first batch of medical students from the institution’s Faculty of Medicine sent to the newly-completed and accredited teaching hospital.

Prof. Frank Akpuaka, the Provost, College of Medicine, ANSU, advised the trainees to adhere strictly to the laid down rules and regulations of the school.

He commended the efforts of the students to advance to the current level and urged them to work harder to qualify as medical doctors.

One of the students, Onyebuchi Izumba, commended the state governor for completing and accrediting the teaching hospital for their training.
