Sharks FC Seeks To Stop Enyimba, Morrow

Sharks Fc of Port Harcourt is looking forward to ending Enyimba International Fc’s lucrative run in the city when the two clubs clash in one of the rescheduled Nigeria Premier League matches at their stadium tomorrow.

The Peoples Elephant as Enyimba Fc is fondly called has made Port Harcourt a good hunting ground, snatching points from both sharks and Dolphins in recent times.

In their last outing against Dolphins this season at the Liberation Stadium, Enyimba come within minutes of snatching victory before the homers’ equalizer forced them to share the points.

But Sharks’ media officer, Confidence Idaa has declared that the  Blue Angels will be targeting victory against the visitors tomorrow.

According to him, “Sharks players are poised to continue their victory run at home, especially, after comprehensive victories against Rising Stars, and Gombe United in their last two matches.”

He stated that the team has vowed not to drop any point at home in the remaining matches of the season in order to maintain their push to  the top bracket of the League table.

Currently, Sharks FC occupies the sixth position on the log with 42 points, while Enyimba is on second position on goal difference, sharing the same 46 points with Ranges International of Enugu.

Thus, it is going to be a titanic battle as Enyimba tries to sustain their record in Port Harcourt.

Football fans will certainly be in for an enthralling experience as Enyimba matches have been seen as a derby clash a  sorts. And their passionate fans would also bring a different angle to the spectacle of the day.
