Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt has promised to sustain their winning streak as they encounter Bayelsa Queens FC in Yenagoa this weekend in one of the week 11 matches of the on-going 2012 women professional football league.

The game, which is expected to be a thriller would put the Angels to further test when they meet their opponents especially as the match is an away game. Also, considering the long standing rivalry between both teams, the visitors would have no choice but to put in extra efforts to secure a victory.

This may be achieved if the Angels work together as a team and employ all necessary tactics in the Saturday game, if they are to fulfil their earlier pledge of securing an outright victory.

On the other hand, the homers would not hesitate to give their opponent a tough fight, knowing the pedigree of the Angels. The Queens would go all out to ensure that the Angels do not humiliate them before their home fans.

The hosts would no doubt dig deep and try to frustrate the visitors. Indeed, a draw may not be a bad result for the homers, but the Angels have what it takes to go for the kill, no matter the venue of the encounter.

The Angels currently lead the league table on 27 points from nine matches played so far in the 2012 female league.
