Niger Basin Authority Boss Tasks Staff
Mr Abubakar Aduragba, the Managing Director of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority (LNRBDA), on Thursday called on the staff of the institution to demonstrate greater dedication to duty.
Aduragba made the call during an interactive session with staff of LNRBDA in Ilorin.
According to him, development and progress can only be achieved when members of staff exhibit greater dedication, hard work and loyalty in the discharge of their duties.
He further observed that the recent reform in the Authority had placed greater challenges before the staff, adding that they could not afford to fail.
Aduragba solicited the cooperation and loyalty of the staff while assuring them of better working condition.
Mr Mathew Siseku, the Chairman of the Staff Workers Union of the Authority, pledged the loyalty of the staff to the management.
He said the new reforms initiated offered the staff a great challenge and an added impetus to work harder.
Siseku further urged the management to ensure adequate welfare of staff while providing them with necessary working tools.
