Little Olohi Begins Life At Seven
History was made last week, precisely on May 26, 2012, as little Miss Olohi Ohioma, an Edo-born Jss 1 student of Cornerstone International School, Port Harcourt launches herself into the music world, with the release of an album titled “Born for a purpose”. At Agbani Derego Hall, Port Harcourt.
A concept incubated three years ago, Miss Olohi who thrilled her audience by her audacious displays as she presented her songs for a public hearing would stop at nothing to prove to her audience that she is born for a purpose.
The fourth child but second daughter of a family of eight, born ten years ago to Mr and Mrs Ohioma, Miss Olohi had been spotted by her parents two years ago as she persistently took pleasure in doing other musicians work very well.
Speaking on her source of inspiration, little Olohi said she sees herself perform in dreams and most times when a lone in a quite zone, her songs are released to her.
With an album of ten tracks: “This world is not as hard as you think, Today is your birthday, Born for a purpose, Star Shower of blessing among others, Olohi promises to work harder to improve on at and even do better works.
As she works towards a release of the album in VCD in a very short time, Miss Olohi already has in stock, eleven more songs in the making.
To her mother, Mrs Ohioma, a fashion designer, it remains a huge surprise to watch her daughter sing and perform very well what she had always considered a disturb as little Olohi sang and demonstrated to her siblings has metamorphosed to a talent of sort.
Mr Ohioma, the father, a railway station manager in Port Harcourt, remains grateful to God as he promises to give her his best support to encourage her to greater height.
Meanwhile, Miss Olohi entertained the audience during the 2012 Children’s Day celebration on 27th May, 2012 at Isaac Boro Park Port Harcourt with a fantastic rendition in honour of the governor’s birthday.
