Coach Canvasses Improved Players’ Welfare
The Chief Coach of Heartland FC, Ndubuisi Nduka, has canvassed improved welfare to boost the performance of players.
Nduka told the newsmen after Heartland’s 1-0 victory over the Ocean Boys FC of Bayelsa, that Heartland’s management was not up to date in settling the players’ weekly allowances.
He said that poor welfare could lower morale of players, adding that players would do better if their allowances were paid as at when due.
The coach said the club’s management could sign on more experienced players next season, to fortify the team.
Nduka commended the players and urged the Imo Government to release more fund to the club to ensure improved performance.
