10 Docked For Assault On TIMA-RIV Officials
Ten persons have been arraigned before the Rumuodomanya Magistrate Court for assaulting officials of the Rivers State Traffic Management Agency (TIMA-RIV).
The Tide learnt that, the TIM-RIV officials were brualised by the ten accused persons at Eliozu junction while carrying out their legitimate duties.
They were later arrested by a combined team of TIMA-RIV and Police officials and subsequently charged to court.
The accused persons were however, granted bail by the court presided over by Mrs Alikor, who subsequently adjourned the matter to the 21st of June 2012 for further hearing.
The accused were however remanded in prison custody following their inability to fulfill the bail conditions.
