The proprietor, Tewo Queens FC of Ibadan, Alhaji Tewogboye Oyewole ,  one of Oyo State teams in the ongoing Nigerian Women League, has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance.

Oyewole at a news briefing early in the week in Ibadan organised to evaluate the performances of the club in the league also expressed satisfaction on the conduct of his girls.

According to him, his club had exhibited an impressive performance by placing second behind the star studded Rivers Angels on the log after eight matches.

“Tewo Queens have this season recorded an away win against Tokas Queens of Lagos and two away draws against Nito Queens and Robo Queens, amassing 11 points,’’ he said.

The proprietor, however, frowned at the mentioning of his club among clubs that owed their players.

The former Oyo State Chairman, Environmental Task Force, denied the claim, saying that his players were paid as at when due.

“There was no time we owed any of our players their entitlements here; we pay our players as at when due, not to talk of many fringe benefits they enjoy.

“Although we still appeal to our state government for assistance in giving the best to them, we satisfy the needs of the team with the little we have,” he added.

According to him, the team will not relent in its efforts to win the league this season.
