LG Leader Gets Vote Of Confidence

Conncillors  of Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State have passed a vote of confidence on the leader of the legislative Assembly, Hon. Ataisi C. Wellington as the best leader in the history of the Legislative Assembly in the area.

The vote of confidence was passed, Thursday, at the hallowed chambers of the Legislative Assembly at Ngo, the headquarter of the area, after a motion was raised and supported by Hon. Genesis Gideon Randoph and Hon. Micah Samuel Micah respectively.

Moving the motion, Hon. Randoph described the leader as a revered lawmaker, whose leadership returned councillors’ integrity in the Local Government Area.

According to him,” Hon. Willington in eight months has used her leadership position to condition the activities of the Assembly and conncillors understand that their business is to make bye-laws and not to create division in the area.”

He described her as “a fearless and decisive leader, who does not want the conncillors to be intimidated in their daily activities”.

The mover of the motion further described Hon. Willington as a leader who neither impose issues nor lure members for her selfish interest, or that of Executive Chairman of the council.
