Lawmaker Hails Jaja’s Election
Former member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Ike Chinwo, says the election of Dr Sam Sam Jaja will ensure unity amongst members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State and the South South geo-political zone.
Chinwo, who represented Obio/Akpor between 2003 and 2001 in the lower chamber, described Dr Jaja as “an intelligent, hardworking well articulate and reliable character that will help place the party high in the state and the region”.
He noted that the election of Dr Jaja as the Deputy National Chairman of the PDP would enhance government’s distribution of resources of the party equitable and put same unto a better advantage for the party in the future.
The former lawmaker however, urged the former chairman of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) not to relent in ensuring that the party maintained her enviable position as the best in the state and the zone.
According to him, “I commend the efforts of the party, the people of Rivers State, Governor Chibuike Amaechi and the President for accepting and encouraging Dr Sam Sam Jaja to serve the party at this level.
“With his past experience, Jaja would ensure that the party at all level maintains its enviable development across- board for the general interest of the people of the South South and the country”.
