IPMAN To Check Petroleum Products Diversion In Rivers

The new Part Harcourt Refinery depot chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers  Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Comrade Sunny Nkpe, has pledged to collaborate with relevant Agencies to check the diversion of petroleum products from the state.

Speaking in an interview with newsmen during the inaugural meeting of the new executive at the Association office at Eleme, Comrade Nkpe also said that the audit committee will also be setup to scrutinise the financial status of the Association during the last executive.

The Association Chairman said that, the executive would put in place modalities towards the effective distribution of products across the state.

He also said that his executive is working with consultants to work out welfare scheme for members while all cases of victimisation of members of the Depot will be checked.

Meanwhile, the IPMAN executive has pledged to work with relevant stakeholders to ensure fairness and equity in the Association.

The chairman, comrade Sunny Nkpe who said this during a courtesy call by the Independent Marketers Branch (IMB) of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural  Gas workers (NUPENG) in his office, described the Association as a very important organ in the Depot.

He said that the new IPMAN executive will restore sanity in products allocations in the depot and charged the IMB executive to brace up for the challenge ahead.

Comrade Nkpe also receive members of the save IPMAN group in his office.
