President of Goldash All Stars FC, Mr. Fubara Hart, has appealed to corporate organisations in Nigeria, especially Niger Delta Development Company (NDDC), to channel a sizeable percentage of its funds into Sports Development.

Mr. Hart made the appeal recently in Port Harcourt during an interview with Tidesports.

According to him, the NDDC should channel a reasonable percentage of its funds into sports development and sponsorship, which according to him, will benefit the high number of unemployed youths in the region.

The Goldash All-Stars FC president promised that his club would continue to be a good example of an All stars Club, and would not only play for leisure and create welfare for its members, but would equally encourage young and talented footballers wishing to make a career in football.

Meanwhile, the second edition of the All Stars soccer competition ended recently in Port Harcourt with the famous Goldash football club emerging victorious. The club carted home a giant trophy with the sum of N200,000 prize money.

It would  be called that the planned one day event extended to a second day as the organising committee led by Barrister Ebenezer Fine Country could not accommodate the 13 teams in one day.

Goldash All-Stars FC in the final defeated Shell Sportiff FC 4-3 on penalties shoot out after regulation time ended goaless at the football section of Port Harcourt Club 1928.
