Sharks Supporters Chairman Tips Club For Continental Tickets

The Chairman Sharks FC Supporters Club, Port Harcourt, Minaiyo Igani, has expressed confidence that the club would pick one of the continental tickets available this season. Igani stated this in a chat with Tidesports in Port Harcourt, saying that the players are improving in every game.

According to him, the supporters club is strongly behind the team to achieve the desired result.

“I am optimistic that Sharks will pick one of the continental tickets this season. We are to make the state proud once again” Igani said.

Recalling a recent interview he granted which accused the Rivers State Sports Ministry of travelling with irrelevant persons to Malabo for Dolphins FC’s CAF Champions league campaign, he explained that the reporter chose to amplify the negative inspite of many positive things.

He said that it was not his intention to put the state commissioner for sports, Hon. Fred Igwe in bad light.

Honestly I did not intend to put my commissioner in a bad light, the issue is that I said a lot of things that day, including the story used, but, the reporter took that aspect which is important to him” he added.

He used the forum to appeal to all members of the supporters club to come together in unity to enable the state teams move forward.
