Rivers Speaker Lauds PDP Over South-South Congress
The Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Otelemaba Dan Amachree, has lauded the South-South zone of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the orderly conduct at the just concluded zonal congress of the party.
Hon Amachree made the observation in a chat with newsmen shortly after participating as a delegate at the Zonal PDP Congress on Wednesday in Port Harcourt.
According to him, going by the conduct of the delegates, the zone would achieve greater heights in the polity, noting that the smooth conduct of the exercise shows maturity.
Hon. Amachree congratulated the new Vice Chairman of the party in the zone Dr. Stephen Oru, and the Rivers state Chairman of the party Chief Godpower Ake, on their electoral victories at the respective congresses of the party and urged them to do more for the continued cohesion of the party.
