Rangers Target NPL Title
The Management of Rangers International FC of Enugu has declared it determination to steer the Flying Antelopes to the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) this season.
The Media officer of the club, Foster Chima, in telephone interview with Tidesports at the weekend said that Rangers were poised to go all the way to the title this season after some near misses in the past seasons.
According to him, the club’s current position as league leaders is occasioned by hard work and commitment.
“Our position on the league table as leaders is not an error, but it is due to hard work commitment and determination.
“We have everything it takes to win the league if the state government effectively supports the club financially”, Chima said.
He explained that though some quality players have left the club, the development would not stop the club from achieving its ambitions.
“Our dream and hope is to emerge as champions at the end of the season despite the loss of some quality players as we are already signing new set of good players to replace them”, Chima stated.
He appealed to football fans in Enugu and Nigeria to support the club through the season and beyond.
