A source has it that the kidnap gang leader and armed robbery suspect was arrested by the police at his hide-out in Port Harcourt, following a tip off.
According to the source, the suspect was taken to the palace of the paramount ruler of the area as well as the local government secretariat for public display, adding that people trooped out from various communities to take a glance of the man who was responsible for their ordeal.
The Tide learnt that there was jubilation around the local government area especially in his home town, Umudike Umuogba community over the arrest of the man described as a heartless armed robber.
The Tide further learnt that the suspect was the 3rd general in the dreaded late Osisikankwu militia gang in Abia State that was later dislodged by the Joint Military Task Force (JTF), last year.
