Dolphins Comfirm Arsenal’s Visit To PH

The general manger of Dolphins FC, Port Harcourt says they have confirmed that Arsenal FC of London would play a friendly match against the Nigeria Premier League champions, Dolphins FC, in Port Harcourt when the Gunners tour Nigeria in the summer.

General Manager of Dolphins FC Dumbor Awanem disclosed this at the weekend in an interview with sports journalists in Port Harcourt.

According to him, we attended a meeting with Arsenal representatives and they reached that agreement.

He also said that other states were trying to lure the Arsenal team to their states but the club said they wanted a side that could actually give them a good test and Dolphins fit that bill.

“With this, I can confirm to you that Arsenal will come to Port Harcourt to play against Dolphins in the summer.”

The general manager further stated the state government’s preparedness to host the visitors.

“the state is already in the process of making things right for the visit of Arsenal to Port Harcourt.

“It’s not every time you get a club like Arsenal coming to your country or stadium and we want to make the best of this,” he added.
