15 Ships Expected At PH Ports
Fifteen ships laden with various items are expected to berth at the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), Port Harcourt in Rivers State.
Out of these vessels, only one ship, Victoria is laden with general cargo while two, Coloso Tres and Marcelo Tres are with 15700 and 25000 metric tonnes of rice respectively.
A daily shipping position of the Port made available to The Tide correspondent on Wednesday indicated that one of the vessels, Cape Belle, whose agent is Casablanca is laden with frozen fish.
Other vessels, Sir Athos, Sea Progress, and Trister Dubai are with Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), Liquid Fortune, Navigator 1, Halifax and Daii are with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), while Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK) products are in Treasure and Masters Force 11.
Also expected to berth after necessary customs clearance are Manas with base oil and Trine Theresa with tallows.
Meanwhile, as at Wednesday, thirteen vessels arrived at the Port Harcourt quay. They are Olivia I, C. Retriever, Lamnalco Houbara, C. Rambler, Zenna 3, Lourdes Tide, Asso Ventotto and Fast Serverts.
The Tide gathered that Ugodie, Pluto, Lebouef Tide, Bourbon Liberty 228 and Sunway B also berthed at the Port.
However, eight vessels, Prince of Tide, Frio Antarctic 1, Cool Aster and Pluto with frozen fish, Attractive and Atlantic with Bulk Cement, Dimistris S. with bulk wheat and Danny Rose with AGO were waiting at the fairway buoy.
