According to the S.A, the project was originally intended to cost N219 m but was reviewed upward to N270m through the Due Process office to meet with the marsh terrain and topography. He further disclosed that all the money required for the project had been released by the Rivers State Government, and contractors are not being owed.
Bobmamel, restated the committment of the MDGs office to the provision of health and water which he described as the fundamental objectives of the body in the state.
In her remark, the principal of the school, Mandah Florence, thanked the Rivers State Governor for the project and called on the government to provide more facilities in the school to enhance the accreditation of course.
A critical challenge identified by the principal in the school, is the lack of transport facilities, such as school buses to covey students and ease their operations.
