The supporters club of Sharks FC of Port Harcourt is set to take to the streets tomorrow in protest against the management of Sharks Football Club for what they termed the management and club’s unimpressive performance this football season.

Sharks FC has played six matches so far, won one at home, drew two at home and lost three away, including the 5-0 thrashing in the hands of Gombe United last Wednesday.

Chairman of the supporters club, Minaiyo Igani made this known, in an exclusive interview with Tidesports at the weekend, in Port Harcourt.

According to him, the supporters club is not impressed with the recent performances of the team.

“My brother, I don’t want to talk too much, on Tuesday, we are rolling out our drums to show our displeasure over the club’s poor form.

“The governor will hear this on Tuesday, because the money spent on Sharks is much and no good result,” Igani said.

The chairman expressed sadness over the punishment metted on Sharks by Nigerian Premier League (NPL) Board in which it will play four home matches behind closed doors.

“I am a witness to the score, nobody touched the referee in that match. So, as far as I am concerned, the punishment is unjust. NPL should show evidence before any punishment,” Igani said.
