Sharks, Dolphins Target Akwa, Gombe United’s Scalps
Port Harcourt Football fans will experience another explosive game. This weekend Sharks FC hosts Akwa United and Dolphins host high flying Gombe United tomorrow and Sundays, respectively.
The fixtures are Week Seven games in the Premier League. Both home teams are still smarting from yet another away poor performance midweek. Dolphins lost narrowly 1-0 to 3SC while Sharks collapsed abysmally 5-0 to Gombe United.
Sharks FC would like to play their best to redeem their image and regain confidence in the presence of their home fans, against Akwa United tomorrow.
Sharks Coaches and players will have to go back to the drawing board to try to regroup, put their acts together and get back to winning ways.
Dolphins FC on the part must be determined to stop Gombe United on Sunday if only to avenge the demolition done on their sister club midweek. But Dolphins must be cautious because Gombe has been in imperious form currently.
The technical adviser of Dolphins, Stanley Eguma said that the game would not be an easy one because Gombe United’s form this season has been high.
“I know that the match would be tough and exciting, but I believe we will grad the three points at stake because I trust my players,” Eguma said.
Gombe united currently top the league table with 13 points from five matches.
