Rivers LGAs Share N3bn Allocation

The sum of N3,097,248,787.00, has been shared to the 23 Local government areas of Rivers State as statutory allocation for the month of December 2011.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Hon. Samuel Eyiba, a copy which was made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt.

A breakdown of the figures according to the statement, shows that Abua/Odual local Government Council got the sum of N135,016,300.58, Ahoada East the sum of N106,503,783.99, while Ahoada West got the sum of N127,971,584.66.

The release also said that Akuku Toru LGA got N114,005,567.90, Andoni, N122,284,554.11 Ogu/Bolo N89,944,618,33.

The release also said that Okrika LGA got the sum of N122,212,142.60, Omuma M96,297,281,87, Opobo/Nkoro N106,340,812.43, Oyigbo N97,750,528.74, Port Harcourt LGA got the sum of N186,100,316,81, while Tai LGA got N106,242,591.88.

The sum of N24,095,345.49 was paid to the Rivers State Local Government service commission,  Asari Toru M116,216,061.37, Bonny N119,073,091.25, Degema N128,493,026.00, while Eleme LGA N119,123,045.82.

The rest are Emohua LGA, the sum of N115,260,668.82, Etche, N130,456,428.68, Gokana N122,474,302.19, while Ikwerre Local Government Council received the sum of N114,052,624.62.

Also Khana LGA, M140,933,216.95, Obio/Akpor N168,593,921.82,Ogba Egbema/Ndoni N138,947,993.48, Government Pension Board and the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers got the sums of N92,956,171.22 and N154,903,505.89 respectively.
