Kilsi Utd FC Targets Return To Div II
Kilsi United FC of Gokana, Rivers State, has expressed its determination to gain promotion to the Nation-wide Division II this soccer season.
The team which is presently in Division III has already commenced screening exercise in order to select good players that would be used to prosecute matches this season.
Chairman of the club, Lessi Gborogbosi who made this known during a brief chat with Tidesports in Port Harcourt, said that the selection would be based on fitness, agility, ball control and goal marking skills, saying that these are the bedrock of a team.
“I am doing everything that needs to be done to actualise my dream this season. That is the reason, I want to make sure that I use the right players to prosecute the league and achieve our target,” he said.
It would be recalled that the club was demoted to Division III after crashing out of the National Amateur Division now known as the Nation-wide League.
