…It’s Three Points Or Nothing – Dolphins

Gombe United FC will be coming to Port Harcourt this weekend with an awesome reputation as league leaders, but Dolphins new sign-on, Hassan Hussein, says there is nothing special about them.

Gombe United currently top the Nigeria Premier League standings with 13 points from five matches, while Dolphins are sixth with nine points from five games also.

A statement by Dolphins’ Media Officer, China Acheru, said that Hussein joined Dolphins from JUTH FC of Jos in the off-season.

It added that he made his debut for the club against Kaduna United last week.

“How can we be afraid of Gombe United? It’s not possible. We are a good team on our own, we have quality players and we are also ambitious to win trophies this season. Gombe United on Wednesday beat Sharks FC of Port Harcourt 5-0 and now have two players Mustapha Babadid and Sanusi Sani on 5 goals each but Hussein is not fazed by their exploits.

“You want me to say we are afraid and will train extra for them? No, we are not. We respect Gombe United and I hope they will also respect us.

“Its three points or nothing for us,” he said.
