Peoples Partnership Power (PPP) a grassroots network that campaigned for Hon. Henry Sariake Dickson, has urged the new Governor of Bayelsa State to appoint technocrats as commissioners and other officers

In an interview with The Tide, National Co-ordinator of the body, Prince Crispus Amarabhi, urged the Governor to introduce what they described as “Peace Education” in the School system, noting that the introduction of the peace education would promote a sustainable environment for tourism and business.

Amarabhi also advised the Governor to hold regular town hall meetings in all the Local Government Areas of the State, stating that this would build back the confidence of the people and provide sustainable governance to the State.

He commended the people for choosing their leader and urged them not to complain if the present leadership did not live up to its promises.

Amarabhi also commended the youths for remaining peaceful throughout and after the election.

According to him, the development of Bayelsa State is one thing the government must work towards achieving in order to build the confidence of the people.
