Fuel Pallistives: NLC Praises Oshiomhole

The Edo State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has praised the Edo State Governor, Comrade Adam Oshiomhole for the palliative measure adopted by the state government to cushion the effects of the rcent increase in the price of petrol by the Federal Government.

According to the NLC Edo State Chairman Comrade Emmanuel Ademokun, the organised Labour are impressed by the pronouncement of the state governor over the various palliative measures to cushion the suffering of the people in the state.

The NLC said, the state council of the congress is particularly proud to note that the Comrade Governor is again the first to announce and implement the relief package in the country. Your action is a testimony of a pragmatic and proactive leadership guided by the drive to better the life of the people of  the state.

The statement further added, you have left no one in doubt that you are truly  a humanist, a democrat above all a God fearing personality.

The congress prayed for the Governor, for responding to emancipate the Edo people from illiteracy through his policy of total free education and free health for the aged in the state.
