Female journalists in Rivers State have been charged to use their position and profession, as a tool to fight against anomalies in the system.

The chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria/Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria in Rivers State, Apostle Zilly Aggrey, gave the charge, Sunday, after a thanksgiving service by members of the State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), at the Royal House of Grace Church Port Harcourt.

The CAN/PFN chairman who acknowledged the importance of women in Nation building, stated that only strategic journalism borne from the womb of women could get the country on the right track.

Beyond the shores of expressing their thoughts through the pen and paper, he therefore admonished the women to check the activities of their children with a view to curbing societal ills.
