‘Dolphins Can Retain Title, Win Champions League’

Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt’s newly signed left back, Kenneth Anyanwu, has expressed optimism that his new club would successfully defend its league title.

The former Enyimba FC defender expressed this optimism before Dolphins base to Malabo Equatorial Guinea, on Friday for their first leg premiership round CAF Champions league match.

According to him, his objective for joining Dolphins is to assist the team to win the league again and capture the CAF Champions League trophy.

“My aim in Dolphins is simple, I am here to assist the club to achieve positive results “Anyanwu said.

The former Enyimba player who was signed six weeks ago also expressed joy with the way and manner he was received by the players and management of the club.

“I have observed that there is a strong sense of brotherhood and love among the players. I also sense high level of maturity and professionalism in the team.

‘I truly appreciate that, you cannot find this in most of the teams in Nigeria,’ he stressed.

Anyanwu, advised his team mates not to be our confident knowing that no team is infallible in the game of football.

“Dolphins should learn not to underrate any of our opponents no matter how unpopular they are because they too also want to win a match in order to be in contention,” he added.
