Subsidy Removal: NCP Urges Nigerians To Be Calm
The National Secretary of the National Conscience Party (NCP), Dr. Yunusa Tanko, has urged Nigerians to remain calm in the face of the removal of fuel subsidy by the government.
Tanko made the appeal on Thursday in a telephone interview with The Tide in Abuja.
The NCP scribe also appealed to the people to conduct themselves peacefully to avoid further hardship.
He described Nigerians as hard working people and called on them to continue to pursue their legitimate duties in an orderly manner, even as they would be asking for their rights from the government.
Tanko advised the government to create more jobs for the unemployed citizens to reduce youth restfulness in the country.
