RSFA Gives Deadline For Club Registration
The Rivers State Football Association (RSFA), has pronounced this month end as the deadline for the registration of clubs/teams for the 2011/2012 soccer season.
This was made known yesterday by the state FA Secretary, Ibigoni Akobo in an interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
According to him, non-league playing clubs are expected to pay N6,000 registration fee for the seasons while N20,000 is the affiliation fee for the 2012 football season.
According to him, affiliation fee is to be paid annually whether the team/club registered for the competition or not.
He continued that it is only the payment of affiliation fee that would guarantee recognition of any club /team as an affiliate of the Rivers State FA.
It would be recalled that the registration exercise has been going on since November last year.
